XBox360, PS3, etc...

Are they getting a bit too one dimensional?  It seems that everything that comes out is a shooter type game.  Are there no more great sports games?  I recall some great Olympic games, water sports, etc. when I was a youngster.  Hell, I'll even take a great Defender, Missile Command or new Donkey Kong with some great graphics.

Yeah.  I've got all the sports.  I even have a couple of racing games but nothing with imagination.  Maybe I'm just showing my age.

    Joysticks anyone?

I'm still playing Final Fantasy 11 on my xbox.
It's the only game I own too.

There's plenty of new sports games now that Sony has come out with Move for PlayStation 3 and Microsoft has come out with Kinect for Xbox 360. Both those features basically turn these systems into the same type of motion gameplay that the Nintendo Wii provides. So you actually play the games with your movements, which works great for sports games.
