Yamaha 01V96I DAW Output Confusion

I hope I can even explain this correctly for starters I am using the 01V as my daw and I realized that I can't pan vocal tracks recorded mono. I have only had the 01V 3 days now so I probably have something setup incorrectly in the 01V.  I will try and explain my setup below
1. 01V does not have designated output channels like the Motu Ultralite for example, it uses all 16 usb tracks for input and output. I have decided to use the stereo tracks of 1 and 2 for my master outs in Sonar.
2. 01V has 4 stereo in channels which I am also using which allows me to hear what I am doing in sonar via the 01V. I can hear everything great so I thought.
3. In the 01V for my channel outputs, I have mapped them to the usb outs in Sonar, example track channel output from 01V is routed to usb1 which is pointing to track 1 in Sonar

4. I noticed when I play my keyboard which is using channels 1 and 2 in 01V routed to stereo track in sonar, the rhodes play correctly I can hear movement side to side as the rhodes bounces between left and right channel. I recorded the rhodes as a test and when playing back no channel movement from rhodes everything is in the middle.

If I am making sense does anyone have any suggestions as to why the audio coming out of my daw into the 01V is not allowing me to pan or have true stereo audio if that makes sense. I assume it must be on the 01V side because I can't see where sonar would prevent something like that. I recorded 3 vocals tracks mono for testing and I wanted to pan one to the left, one in the middle, and one to right and I was not able to do that.  When panning in sonar nothing happens no movement all tracks stayed in the center.  Any suggestions are welcome

How are your monitors hooked up? WHich output of the 01v are you using,, the Monitor, Main stereo or the spdif? You may have toggled a mono output option.
I know with my old 01v pressing solo turns the Monitor outputs mono. Not sure how much the new mixer has in common with the old, but it does take a few days to get your head around the routing.

I using XLR stereo mains for output, the most confusing thing for me is the term patch in and patch out.  I will keep digging today to see what I can find

I figured out my issue, on my stereo in channel I had stereo and bus 1 seleted which is using omni out 1. Bus1 was causing me not to pan because omni is one channel, unselected Bus1 problem solved
