Yamaha s90xs volume problem

Hi. I've just joined this forum and I'm a bit new to this and new to the kit I've just bought, namely a Yamaha s90xs keyboard, so please bear with me.

Here's my problem...

My understanding is that you make a 'Multi' and from the sounds stored there you make 'Masters' and so far I've had no problems with this.  However, I made a Multi using bass sounds for zone 1, piano and strings for zone 2 and organ for zone 3 in the associated Master and zones 1 and 3 work perfectly.  I have used the 'Natural Grand S6' piano sound along with the 'Almighty' string sound in the Multi for zone 2 in the Master but even though I save the strings at a very low volume in the Multi they are always very loud in the Master.

Can anyone please tell me why this is?  Is there something I'm missing that will allow me to reduce the volume of the strings in the Master?

I would be very grateful for any guidance.

Thank you.

Hi, this question might be answered better in the yamaha forums.  there may be someone here who has an s90xs who could help you, but it's more likely you will find answers on the yamaha forums than here.

I have had multiple yamaha keyboards, but I have not had an s90 series and I am not sure of what your exact problem is nor how to help further.
