Yeah, I'm a ham...

    Dan,

Nice song (strange intro, but hey - that's your perogative).  One thing that I seem to be hearing is that it sounds monural?  There seems to be a little pan on the drums and some spread on the piano, but everything else seems to be from dead center?

Love the song and performances Dan. Very original and fresh to me.
Didn't like the intro too much although I guess it was interesting.
    Love your voice.

You should consider reading spooky stories for audio books.

    The music was nice.

I did not get the connection between the reading and the music.

It was just a lark to put that at the front of the song. It'll come off. It might be right for another song I'm working or, but I won't use the phoney accent, probably. Anywhat, thand yall fer lisnin'.

Dan, I imagine if Sean Connery, the Grinch and Vincent Price combined their voices they would sound like your vocal narrative intro. Didn't really get the intro but like the song. Harmonies are really good.... Regards

Wow!!!what a cool song. I really dig it. Are those live drums? Which instrument did you play? That intro was a bit odd

Great song once again.  Great harmonies.  I agree that you'd be a great narrator for books too.  :)

mtgonzalez, I programmed those drums note for note on SONAR, like always. It's BFD from Fxpansion. All other instruments are played by me. Thanks for listening.

Another good song from you.  I liked the mix, and I thought it was spread very well.  You have a good voice, and I like the glassed in your avatar the best.

Just down the 405fwy. Sometimes I'll attend studio workshops up in the LA area. I'll hit you up next time. I was listing to the rest of your tunes on your sound click site, they're great. I like the baby girl one. We just had a baby boy and I'm working on a song for him...fun stuff

Awesome song and tribute to happiness ... in the psychedelia genre.

Lyrics are a bit self-invoking ... vs. other-centered ... which seems fine if the song were shorter.

Other than that, this is one powerful demo of happiness!

Great song and arrangement... Really well played...
Vocals are outstanding... Love the harmony, but I think it would be much more effective if you used it less through the song...
    great voice & singing though...

Ditto what Tim said on the intro.

This has a bit of late 60s or early 70s sound... back when music was cool!  This reminds me of some group but I can't bring it to mind.

Great voice for this.  Love the vocals, love your voice!  Great changes.

Almost a Sanford Townsend vibe, we used to do a of those guys in my nightclub road days.

    Well done.  Very pretty.
