Yeti An Other Band
Just got a call from the leader of an 8 piece band named Rewind. Groovy! They're a variety band with horns and they want me to play with them. Now unless MM100 tells me that band is a bunch of felons I should get some gigs. I also have hooked up with a vocalist to do jazz standards and pop as a duet for restaurants. (She's a real beauty but married.) I Am considering" Beauty and the Beastly" OR" bayoubill and her" as the name of our duet. I hope this is an early Christmas present and I can keep playing my guitars. This is far out man!

I'd assume that any band that wanted me to play live with them would not be felons but deaf.

This may be sexist but this vocalist is whoa parla vu huma huma! I think all she has to do is sit or stand there then I play a little and we got the gig.  As fer the band goes, the sax player is female and.. well all she has to do is sit or stand there and I play a little and we got the gig! I think I have seen these guys in the post office  Come to think of either I Am getting way uglier or everyone around me is getting prettier which in turn makes me uglier. . ... too scary to think about right now

Bill I googled them and they were the first hit ,The guy on the left looks like the old guitar player from the band Flite I used to play in ... Just a note.. whenever there is a chick anything in the band ,,there usually is a husband/boyfriend/girlfriend associated with here and they can be arses....

Thanks for the info! I will be a gentleman Going by my conversation with the band leader there seems to be a problem with the current guitar player hence their contacting me. I'm kinda unsure what's going on but looks like a shake up in the band. The song list I was sent has tough tunes on it. My work is cut out for me.

I may even the scale by not only demanding they do MY songs plus rearranging theirs to the only real key of Am but introducing my banjo to all the rock and funk tunes. They do a lot of Tower of Power so my banjo playing should fit right in! Today I bought suspenders for my pants for "the look" I Am trying to achieve on stage. I Am a chick maganet
