You Found Me- Christian Song
This is a Christian Pop/ Rock song that I recently recorded. I have been using the new Pro Channel on the last several songs and I am liking the results that I am getting with PC. Let me know what you think of this song. You Found Me

It sounds like Venus when it started. On the computer speakers, It sounds bass heavy and muddy for that reason. I'll log on with my lappy and listen with cans. On the cans it doesn't sound as muddy as on the speakers. But I still think the bass is a bit heavy in the lower midrange. A lot of "huh" at the end of the words. You found me huh.... I'd leave that breath sound out, as it's very distracting. The song is pretty decent.

Thanks for listening Radio. Yes, it is a simple song and simple message, but that has kind of become my trade mark over the last couple of years. Not sure what you are specifically saying about the drum mix, but really glad you like the song. Incidentally, those on another forum brought up that it reminded them of "Horse With No Name", in the verses, but then goes in a different and unexpected direction.

I agree with Herb about the end of several words. But I like it. Simple but good.

performance and song + + + 1 suggestion---- drums sound to compressed -- -it could be the snare only --- I really don't know ---- something about the drums are bugging me

Hi Mike! I thought I had commented on this already, but apparently not! I haven't read anyone elses' comments, so I apologize if I repeat something you've already gone over. I really like the sound of the acoustic on this, really nice recording and mix. bass sounds really good too, nicely mixed. something's bugging me about your drums, seems like they're panned weird or something - mostly to the left. the snare and kick seem centered, but most everything else is left - far left, so there doesn't seem to be a balance on the right with the drums. ok - toms 3 of them, left center and right, but you're not hitting the right tom very often and you're smacking that hat a lot, so it seems unbalanced, leaning left. the hat is definitely a little too hot in the mix at least, and maybe a little too much high end on them? this is a great song, tho! love it!!! really good job on the mix except for that little nit pick about the drums. great job!

Other than the drums, this sounds really really nice! I love the heavy bass sound.

Janet, Dude, Beagle, Scotty tunes, I guess I did n't notice that you had posted. Thanks for listening and the kind words. Beagle, not sure what you are hearing with the drums. I will certainly listen again and check everything within my mix. I pulled midi patterns in straight from EZD and really did n't manipulate them much. If the toms and hats are messed up, I guess I will have to wonder why EZD programmed the patterns that way. Scotty, I kind of like the bass pushed a little heavy in this song as well, it just felt right.
