You friend compliments you on your new alligator shoes and you're going barefoot...

When you complain about all the reruns on TV and your wife tells you you're staring at the microwave.

When most of the rooms you walk into, you forget why.

When someone asks if you have fiber for your internet and all you can think of is Metamucil.

You hear Ozzy Osbourne on the "classic rock" station.

Yeah that's true John . At half my age some of the wimenz have kids that are about to enter Junior High School

My Doctor recently told me my heart is no longer healthy for Sex and we are running some test's

I'm surrounded by good-looking 20-somethings at one of my clients. Then I hear one of the receptionists (whose daughter is one of those 20-somethings there) lament that she's going to turn 50 in six years and I suddenly realize that I was programming before she was born...  *Sigh...*

When you were young , the phrase  "Laying some Pipe " meant the much anticipated after the gig Debauchery back stage .
Now that your old , the phrase "Laying some Pipe " only means a trip to your local hardware store to pick up the plumbing supplies you need to keep the missus at home happy.

Was thinking about the passage of time and how we perceive it. Ever notice how the longer you go thru time, the faster it passes. Pink Floyd sang about 10 years vaporizing without a clue.
 
Was listening to the Beatles “When I’m 64” song and the giggle about losing my hair “many years from now”. 64 done come and gone even if judged as an eternity into the future at the time of the recording.
 
Sir Elton having no wish to live 60 years on (beautiful song). Changed his mind it seems.
 
Activist Abby Hoffman was one of my favorite back tracks. He coined the phrase “Don’t trust anyone over 30”. In the progression of things, he hit that aged mark and tried to reinvent the quarantine to anyone over 40. Didn’t do his credibility any good. (Rest his soul down there wherever he is…)
 
Was mildly curious how old you warriors are. Can claim my place as the oldest dinosaur around here, headed toward 68. Outside of a few other relics that distort the statistics, picture the median age of forumites to be late or mid 20’s.

I think Larry Alexander is the oldest forum member, he's in his 80s. I suspect the average age around here would be about 45, maybe even older. I don't think many young 'uns bother with internet forums.
