Mrs. Beagle always makes me sound better. I am sure you were listening to her lovely voice, Ed and were distracted from listening to me.

Overall, this sounds very nice. The instrumentation gets a little lost during the chorus, but I'm not sure that matters. There is just a touch of harshness in the cymbals/hats. Tame that and everything will sit better. Regards, Dan

The vocals work, agree there is still some harshness in the top end and things do get a little lost in the chorus. Not sure if it was intentional Reece but there are piano chords in the intro that sound stabbed rather than played.

Hey John, thanks a lot for the listen and the comments! I'll take a look at the top end in the chorus. the chorded parts of the intro were intended to be hit pretty hard, but I might could back off a little if it's over the top. I'll take a look at it. thanks!

I agree with the earlier comments so will not repeat those. I enjoyed the song, well structured for the genre and at least the words have some meaning unlike other mainstream worship songs I could name. Good job.

Thanks Adrian! All, I've made changes to the compression/limiting and major changes on EQ to try to reduce the "harshness" and problems that you've all commented on. I hope my new changes make this better, thanks to your suggestions! new mix is same link above.

Good stuff Beags - vocals sound the shizzle on this one. Maybee too many cymbal crashes in the chorus...?
