Your Bottle Of Rum

As I sit locked in a cubicle in Toronto, not enjoying the snow and sub-zero temperatures, I'm remembering sailing in the Caribbean.

It inspired this song, hopefully it's good for a laugh.

Made me laugh out loud - in a good way! Great fun, and I'm drinking a stiff Mount Gay as I listen! The only wife I'm eyeing up is sitting right next to me...Here's to my own memories of Barbados last year. Cheers from a surprisingly mild north east Scotland.

    Very well played.

    Thanks guys.
And really, I exorcise my bad behaviour through song. No more wifestealing, or even cigarette- stealing for me. Rum, though...

Fun song, bass comes across a little to much here could do with a little bottom end cut to take some of the boom out. JMFO, thanks for sharing.

Arrg, that is a fun tune.

I agree with Wooks about the bass being a little heavy, but maybe that helps keep the ship upright?   You know, after all those bottles of rum...

    Thanks guys.
It was a "write it, record it, mix it, then remember to have breakfast" project.  I'll do a decent mix one of these days, this one's just for fun.

PS, if you ever find yourself in the British Virgin Islands, head to The Bitter End (Virgin Gorda) and Willy T's (Norman Island).  A night at each of those inspired this song.

Hey Matt - this is great! loved it!  vocals are excellent!

I agree with others, first thing I thought was that the bass was too heavy, I'd suggest cutting it back.

    awesome tune!

Now that I'm only 2 days away from flying down for my next sailing adventure, I'm bumping this.
The song is getting me excited.
