Thanks for the inputs!
Anything new on the step sequencer front?

The SS still carries with it many of the same issues as X3e for the most part. I was giving this another try with song composition yesterday (using SS and Matrix View mostly). I had better stability with my shinanigans in Platinum (I could crash X3c religiously with the SS, but Platinum held up to me); but even though more stable, it was not quick and clean for sandboxing. After a few hours I backed out and created kits in Geist to drive Addictive Drums 2 via custom maps. This workflow is significantly more efficient, and the Song tab in Geist is a nice graphical representation of the Matrix View in a track format.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.
