Yup... even after 20 years NewsRadio is still one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.
I think this is like the fifth time I've tackled the entire series in under a decade and it still makes me audibly guffaw multiple times per episode.
Man, Hartman was one hilarious mofo (not to mention the rest of the cast).
All subjective of course.

That was amazing. Thanks for the reminder, i'll have to rewatch it. With that cast, it couldn't fail (except by murder, apparently).

One of my all-time favorites. I haven't seen it in decades but I still remember lines from it.
WKRP in Cincinnati, that's another one worth revisiting.

20 years ago...that freaks me out now..it was only the mid '90's, that's like yesterday. When I was a boy, 20 years ago was World War 2!

thanks beepster! they are all on youtube too in the 'jon stick' account. i used to love just shoot me but after watching a couple of these I think newsradio is even better :)

I liked News Radio but in my mind it kind of gets mixed up with another show which ran around the same time and was was set in the offices of a fashion magazine, I think it was called Just Shoot Me and had David Spade in it as well as a very hot girl with a nice set of you know whats. I think her you know whats are probably what made it memorable and unfortunately the memory has gotten tied up somehow with News Radio, which was a lot funnier.

A young, teenage Beepswad had a WICKED crush on Vicki Lewis (Beth).
and perhaps an old, mangled up creepo Beeps still has one too... lulz.

I'm realizing now how "Beth" looks and moves a lot like an ex of mine... except she had dirty blond hair. She wasn't quite as wacky in the same way as Beth but still pretty durned wacky. Actually one of my better/more satisfying relationships. Still heaps 'o' unnecessary drama though but she was a cool chick.
