Z3TA+ 2 Tutorial - James Blake "Retrograde"

I've recently become a lover of Z3TA+ 2 (definitely in a platonic way, I swear), so I've started using it in my synth tutorials. I thought you Z3TA+ 2 users might find this latest one interesting. In it I recreate the synth patches from James Blake "Retrograde". I'm a newbie here, so I can't post the direct link. But just search "uoD2URJ6NJk" on Youtube and it'll pop up.

Great video so far. Have to watch rest later because my phone speakers can't play rhe bass. The syntorial demo is impressive. If I did not have more pressing matters (single parent) I would jump on it. I can't wait to watch rest of video. Thanks again.

Finished up the video. Great job on this. Z3ta can be a little intimidating but you made creating those patches look so easy and explained in a way that simple to follow and more importantly also easy to apply to creating other sounds. I have to say that watching this video gave me a better understanding of how Z3ta works.

Excellent to hear! Yeah, the flexibility of Z3TA does have the downside of a tougher learning curve. But after learning it so well, I really feel like it can make almost any sound I need.

Hmmm.  I know z3ta+ can be used for effects but I thought that was taken away from Z3ta+2

Yeah it looks like they did take it away for 2. Kinda wished they hadn't though, it'd be a nice option.

BigJ..I figured that was the case.  Z3ta+ is still a great synth.  The upgrade is worth it and they have frequent sales.  Obviously if you don't use the synth part it is useless to you though.

I have found uses for it, every once in a while Ill really just sample the sound list and see if anything inspires me. Mostly I do really use it for a quick effects processor!
