Z3TA2 - Mutant Patches
I recently downloaded these free patches from the Cakewalk store I followed the instructions exactly - unzipped them to my Cakewalk Content\Z3TA + 2\Programs folder Launched Sonar "As Administrator", loaded up Z3TA + 2, but none of the new patches are listed. I've tried hitting F5 a few times but no luck. I CAN load single patches one at a time using Z3TA's browser So, what am I missing here? Do you need to be in a special part of the GUI before F5 has any effect? Thanks in advance Jonesey

I think you have to import them under "Program"...

This one was bugging me too so I finally figured it out... ZETA apparently requires sub-folders in order to recognize banks. So if you want a bank called "Mutant" to display in ZETA along with its patches, the folder structure should be something like this: C:\Cakewalk Content > Zeta2 > Free Mutant Patches > Mutant > patch1.fxp > patch2.fxp > patch3.fxp > patch4.fxp That should do it.

No problem at all! I was even happier to have figured this out when I realized that I had a few other folders worth of presets that had never been used.

glad you got it sorted. I had the same problem until I re-read the instructions and changed my folder structure

Thanks lads, i'm now taking advantage of the extra 30% off to upgrade to Zeta2.1 so this is handy info! Download is slow, the Cake server must be extreeemly busy.

Bristol_Jonesey Right, now it's time for the Rapture upgrade & Filmscore pack! @Colin - It will not show up, and no guide to why. In windows 7 go to c:/programdata/cakewalk/rapture/programs and delete programs.lst When you restart rapture it finds it all.

Good information, here, when I get around to installing mutant patches. I too got the Zeta upgrade. Anyone here know about how I can prevent the Z8TA main volume from going back up to maximum every time I change a Z8TA patch? I simply HATE that ... and was hoping it would be different than that, saving my ears and annoying volume levels.

I think deleting the .lst file has the same end result as refreshing the browser - both regenerate the patch list. As far as the Mutant patches go... yeah, they're a bit different. But I do find some of them very interesting.
