Z3Ta - patches not playing
Don't know if anyone has seen anything like this or not. I was browsing through some of the z3ta patches last night, and whilst most of them were perfectly ok, a few - maybe 20 or so, simply wouldn't play a single note. The Midi was being triggered but no audio. Anyone seen this before?

Only if my audio engine had dropped out. IIRC I went through a stage with that happening but it seems to have sorted itself out now.

I've had problems with this but it isn't specific patches - it just gives up if too many patches are browsed. Dim Pro does the same thing. I put it down to a memory issue. Grum.

brundlefly Possibly you were playing out of range on the keyboard, or the attacks are so long you aren't giving them enough time to evolve? Which patches? Maybe you need to upgrade to Z3TA+ 2. http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=10-CWZ32.00-20E I did try several keyboard ranges and no go, and i was holding them down for seversal seconds - long enough for the most ethereal patch to come to life. I see someone else has had a similar problem with Z3TA + 2

I used the standalone first... and then the vst in sonar x1... and lost X1's ability to accept midi in... even with other vsts... loaded up Sonar 8.5 ... worked fine... back to x1 - nope... restart comp... back to normal - works..
