Good job.... however, I would put this into a comedic zombie category. It is a bit dated sounding. If you want to hear modern zombie music.... listen to the sound track for the AMC Walking Dead series. here's a link to 8 of the songs including the theme: https://itunes.apple.com/...s-original/id598439073 Look up Bear McCreary since he is apparently the main scoring composer for the TV show's sound track underscore. The CD listed above are some of the songs from the series closing music.... one of them is by Bear. In case you have not seen the show, it's on AMC on sunday evenings 9pm eastern US time. Watch it just for the music if you're not into the show story line.

Yes I like his style. Maybe Ill try to listen to more of his stuff at some point. Thanks for the pointer. Kev

the cello lick at 16 seconds.... & repeats around 1 min.... take that out.... IMHO it sounds like something from a Disney movie animation march of the elephants or something. Those few seconds of that lick places an unwanted comedic pall over the otherwise dark and on target music. Just those 2 places . The rest sounds good. Of course... it's your tune, and the opinion is just this one man's opinion.

I put the cello there to contrast with the slow movement of the tremolo strings.Maybe they need to sound edgier and more aggressive to really put the point across / make their intention obvious perhaps ? When the music is playing to the video its a lot more clear why they are there I think -it gives a kind of a classic hammer horror move vibe with the picture which I like. But yep I hear you man ! I wish I could work out a way to post the video, then it would be easier to see what I,m blabbering on about lol ! Maybe Ill suss a way this afternoon, Cheers

Sounds great to me Kev. I've seen many Zombie movies, US and European, and this sounds like it would work very well. Interesting Herb should mention Bear McCreary, I was watching his series about the Walking Dead score recently. Here's a segment where he talks about using a 'cello orchestra' http://www.youtube.com/wa...UU2Z9O7Qw7PCT6fPN0yaHg

just watched the video.... yeah the lick fits...and the video kinda distracts from the lick a bit.... perhaps if you have time or inclination to change it, make it a bit spookier or creepy.

Nicely done. I do agree that the music was better than the video. The music has some nice changes and some "pops" to keep it evolving.
