Zoom 505 comes in too hot

I would like to use my Zoom 505 effects processor to record with GT3 but it boosts the input level so high that it is difficult to work with. Here's the layout: Guitar-->Zoom505-->PC. That's all I have right now. Is there anything I can do or get to have more control over the level that comes into the PC from the Zoom?

Thanks!

    Hi Roy

If your Zoom has got a headphone socket, try running from that into your PC - it might not be as hot as the output to an amp.

I've been DI-ing from my old Korg pedalboard's headphone socket for ages and it gives me a real PC friendly signal.

    Good luck
