Zoom R24 Ins and Outs

Hi, I have just set up a home studio, my father had a copy of Cakewalk Music Creator, so i thought id install it just to begin with, I have a Zoom r24, and it's all connected fine and is working, but in the inputs i only have Left, right, and stereo, (4 ins, 1 out) when i need 8 ins and 2 outs. I hoped you could help me achieve this? I've tried everything. Thanks

    MC will only do 2 inputs at a time.

    Outputs are dependent on the interface/soundcard/


    I have a Focusrite Saffire.... it has 2 inputs and 8 outputs...all the outputs work with MC.... it's the inputs that are limited. 

    You need Sonar if you want more inputs to work for recording a band.

    sure the X1 DAW will support more inputs as will some others... you can easily check the specs on them in the cake products pages
