Zoom R24 Interface problems with Cakewalk Products

I am using Zoom R24 recording track as an audio interface for CW Pro audio9 & Sonar Home studio4. The Zoom R24 got 8 input where input 3-8 supporting phantom power for Condenser Mic.

In Sonar Home Studio 4

MME-32bit (Asio Zoom R24 Audio Interface driver v1.5.0)
I can record my guitar successfully from input 1 but failed to record using condenser mic from all input 3-8. I can hear the sound but failed to record. There's only Left, Right & Stereo channel that available... I cannot assign other input to record.

WDM/KS
Now I can choose the input to record. But there's a distortion sound as a recording result as well as hell a lot of latency.

ASIO4ALL Driver
I can assign input channel but there's only 4ins and 1outs where it supposed to be 8ins 2outs. I can record but the result is poor like using cheap sound card.

Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03

Not able to choose a driver mood at all.. means I cannot choose input channel for recording. I just be able to record using input 1 for my guitar but not for condenser mic as the input that supported phantom power are in 3-8.

I really hope that somebody can help me for this matter... esp for me to use my condenser mic in CWPA 9.03. The Zoom R24 bundle with Cubase LE5 but I'm not interested with the software as it's too complicated to do wave editing.

Thank you in advance.

This will probably be of no help, but might keep thread going for you. Noticed no ASIO, just ASIO4ALL. Can you not get the manufacturers ASIO, or do they not have them? What kind of system are you running, that will help someone who knows what they are talking about. Could it be 4 stereo in and 1out, since its half the ins and outs? Sorry no help, hope someone will respond, good luck!

Hi gray36... thanks for the reply. Now I can use Zoom Audio Interface with sonar by switched to Asio4All driver mood... but not under MME-32bit or WDM mood.

Now how to switch driver mood between MME32bit,WDM or ASIO4ALL in Cakewalk Pro Audio9.03?.

Btw my system details are as below:-

    - DELL Vostro3700 Laptop
    - Intel i7 Processor 1.6Ghz
    - 4MB DDR3 RAM
    - 1GB Nvdia Geforce Display
    - Windows 7 Professional (32bit)

Zoom R24 Recording Track (Use only as Audio Interface)
    - Recorder,Interface & Controller
    - 8ins & 2outs Channel
    - 6inputs with phantom power support (3-8)
    - Latest Interface driver V1.5.0 and latest Firmware version 1.1.0

    Thank you.

I do not know Pro Audio, but in most it is under options>audio>advanced-driver mode. Then the general tab, for playback and record. Not sure not at DAW now, but at the top under options>audio should get you where you need to be. Sorry can't be more help, maybe someone who knows Pro Audio 9 will chime in. Good luck.
