Zoom R8/16/24 as Audio Interface

I would be interested to know if anyone has managed to use the above company's multi-track recorders successfully as an audio interface in MC.

Not sure if this will help you, but I have used a Zoom H4n as audio interface with Sonar.    It required changing the basic audio setting first before being able to select a device ... I had to tell sonar NOT to use the ASIO for my main sound card.     But MC might be different altogether, sorry I have never used it.

What exactly are you having problems with?  If you'll give us more specifics, we may be able to help you from a general standpoint regardless of which exact soundcard you're using.

I am not having any problems - just wondered as i am in the market for a stand alone multitrack recorder and if it can successfully double up as an AI then great :-)

I have the R16 & works fine with Sonar Platinum, I used to use it with MC years ago.

Thats good to hear. Did you use the Asio drivers with it as that is all MC will use it seems?

Correct, ASIO drivers is all I use.
Edit: I should also mention I am running Windows 10 but I also run Windows 7 on my laptop. I don't think Zoom has come out with new drivers the last time I checked but the old ones seem to work just fine.
