    Hi Plauto,

I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure what problem you're having.  Could you try to rephrase, or try using Google Translator to convert your question into English?

The download is an .exe file and launches a standard installation application when you double click on it.  Perhaps your download was corrupted.  Download it again and try it.

I just got my update and it installed over the old version fine.  Great job Cakewalk.  I really like this synth.

    Hi Brian!!!!

The question has already been translated, the Portuguese (Brazil) for English, these translators do not work well.

Basically, the installation setup does not work.

    Hi Plauto,

    My advise is to:

    1. Uninstall Z3TA+ 2.0
    2. Reboot your PC
    3. Download the Z3TA+ 2.1 installer again (in case the installer got corrupted)
    4. Reinstall

The Z3TA+ 2.1 installer should work fine - we tested it like crazy, please try this and see if it helps.

    Hello Plauto,
I am curious to know what operating system you are running. If you are running Windows XP SP2, this issue has been reported. We do not support XP SP2, If you download the windows update for XP SP3 and reboot your machine, it should solve the problem.
Hope that helps, let me know if it solves your problem.
    Thanks,

Thanks Brian, I am indeed enjoying this great synth.  A lot of editable sound sources.  However, I can only play it as a VST within X1 because the stand alone version has not worked from the get go.

Upon opening, I get the "Error opening MIDI device".  When I click on the inputs (menu unseen) , change my input to M-Audio USB KeyStation 88es the app just hangs and crashes.  My screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I cannot see the top menus.

I am fine with playing it within X1 but I would also like to play it as a stand alone app.  Any suggestions?

BTW, I haven't had time to go through all of the presets but the ones I have tried worked very well unlike the first version where a lot of presets were silent (as witnessed by others in another thread).

Thanks for any help that you may provide.

    Hello Keebo,
I have tested the standalone version in many different OS's and with different MIDI controllers. I have not run into this issue.
I would recommend uninstalling your MIDI controller drivers and reinstalling them.
Let me know if that solves your issue with the standalone app.
    Thanks, hope that helps,

    Josh,

Thanks for the tip.  I wasn't crazy about uninstalling the drivers so I turned off one of the devices in the list (POD XT) and it still popped up the MIDI error upon opening but worked just fine otherwise.

The large size of the GUI is still a bit of a pain but workable.  I had a similar issue with another standalone product and their devs told me I need to change my DPI settings.  It worked but everything thing else was too small for my liking.
