a 30 day trial period for pluggins would benefit all
It seems to me that Cakewalk could sell us more FX, soft synths, etc if they allowed us to try these out for 30 days and if we liked the product we would buy it. I was thinking today that I bet many are on the fence, many times wondering if a product is as good as it appears. Since many of us have been burned before buying products that really weren't what we had expected.
If Cakewalk was worried about pirated plugins by doing this, it seems they could protect themselves by not having us actually install the product on our HDs, but instead have it be accessed from the Cakewalk website HD. Maybe this isn't even necessary since we have the Command Center, maybe that would be protection enough for Cakewalk.
I think this would be a win-win for the users and Cakewalk. I would likely buy more if I could be sure I liked it. I hope something like this is already in the works, since many of us may be buying the lifetime subscription and will have some extra cash ready to buy some plugins in the future.
