accidentally over-wrote my song

Was messing with a project and accidentally saved the wrong version over the top. Is there anyway to recover the previous version?

    No.

But the original wav files will still be on your hard drive.

You'll need to identify them and re-import into a new project.

If it's all midi you're probably scuppered

Or you could open your last backup and try to remember what editing you've lost and redo it

I hate it when that happens.

Jonesey is correct.... the waves are still in the audio folder. Rebuilding the project IF it was audio is possible.... not fun, but possible.  I have had to do it. I deleted a vocal track that I later decided I liked best.... it took some time but I was able to get it back.....

Just take it one track at a time and be sure where you are saving it this time before you click OK

I'll bet everyone here has done that at one time or another.

    Lesson learned.

If you have autosave turned on you can load the autosave version.
