adding new track

when adding a new audio track, I always want the input to be "MME>Left IN" but it defaults to "none".  How do I switch the default?

Create the track and save it as a track template. From then on, insert the template when you want a new audio track with that configuration.

Fair question..... but likely because the OP is running a factory card perhaps?

ASIO would be a much better driver but the hardware needs to be able to run efficiently with ASIO. Most factory cards will not run ASIO well.
