...after the dust has settled.
After all the fear and doubt sourrounding the future of Sonar and Cakewalk, I feel that the dust has finally settled.
So to mark this departure from the unknown, this morning I uninstalled all the trial DAWs and 'just-in-case' DAWs from my machine, and I have to say.....it felt good! Also, my machine seems to be running smoother since I got rid of them....might just be my imagination, but I'm sure the ol'laptop is more responsive than before. I'm a great believer in ritualistic ceromonies to mark passages in our lives, and getting rid of 'just-in-case' software in favour of my trusted Sonar feels like a weight of my mind.
