sorry for the double post but i had another question....i hear rumor that p5 is a computer memory monster is this true....like it takes a lot just to run it????

    No not true. The application itself uses very little RAM. The amount of RAM needed by Project5 depends entirely on how much RAM the instruments you have loaded need. This is the same with all applications that use software synthesizers. I would contend that, with the same instruments loaded, Project5 uses no more RAM than any other application running the same soft synths.

    anyways ,,, i agree withh mr, brandon,,, i use a 2.5 ghz 512 ram,,, laptop "live",,, i got 1,5 gb,,, of (recorded) audio files,,,30-40 tracks),,ya know,,,, p5 runs at 30-40 cpu,,,,,,, i add say 20 effects,,, it runs at 60 cpu,,,, still not a skip,,,,,, the "softsynths" add mucho processing,,,,,, p5's audio engine is splendid,,,,,,, there are so many things to consider,,, for performance,,, ya know,,,,,, graphic issuses ,,,,,seems to be the ,,,, highest on the graph,,, next would be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,compatibility with ,,, vst i synths,, and next would be ,, driver issues,,,, next would be,, cpu speed,, next would be "ram,,, oh my,,,,, the list ,, goes on,,,,on,,,on,,,,,

    I felt that was true of version 1, but that was effectively addressed in version two, and is no longer a valid complaint.
