I'm glad I didn't buy R-Mix. I'm sure I will buy it when it hits. I think I am going to pass on the Softube bundle that has been sitting in my cart and wait to see what this brings. It should be a smoother rollout than X1 was. Everything considered, I am excited about it! The video covers the details much too fast, go Here and hover over the circle icons and the info is there. Which version is right for you? The most expensive one, of course. J

If it werks it will be a great release. Apparently my post count matters not to the dev team. So far they have not addressed the three enhancement requests I put in. 1. Real "full" color customization 2. Nested folders 3. True track solo on a Multi-Out drum folder when a drum map is deployed However, this upgrade looks real nice to The Bapu.

Lots of focus on shiny things and giving back what was taken in the past. I wonder if the AE will be a tad more gap-less? It also looks like there will only be one Pro Channel for all. It will be very interesting to see how many upgrade paths they will create. I'm definitely letting the dust settle this time around. Early adopters get the free colonoscopy.

It'll be cool to see the next step in it's evolution. Would have saved me a lot of money if I were one those that will be diving in for there first time....now that computers are good enough to handle the processing demand...and even the cheap ones at that. They sure won't have the headaches I've had -and the Cake software was always the easy part. A nice computer 64 bit OS, X1 in August to get free upgrade, put the "big" money in soundcard, monitors and headphones and get it on. Pretty cool. Wish it had been so easy when I started spending for this. So cheers to you bakers and hope it's great and you have to work O.T. to meet the orders.

Brilliant marketing by the Bakers. <long pause while JB cracks up yet again> In the X2 email, they say "Seemless". I wonder how many of the adolts upstairs will say, "hey you said Gapless Engine" with they install it and it crashes when you try to edit a clip while the song is playing or recording?

I seem to recall rather heated, pointed, arguments with name calling regarding the "seamless no gap" issue
