any way to save global project settings for every new created project?

I mean I use always some kind  of count-in which is set to 0 bars by default with new project.
I have to dig in in some menus and waste time to set it again to 2 or 4. Is there any global settings
loaded all the time when open Sonar?
thanks

You need to create your own default project template and then you use that every time you create a new project.

I put in a feature request to have global and per project preferences more clearly separated/identified. I don't know who decided what would be a per project setting but I find preferences in Sonar to be cumbersome. I'm using Scott's suggestion right now and it works well. They really should say that setting global preferences requires a custom template to be effective.

actually I found in options settings "initialization file" which I guess allows to set global properties for all projects.

I don't think that initialization file will do what you want, but if it does please share the results. Good luck.

to set global properties for all projects.

As mentioned set up a project exactly how you want to work - screensets, snaps, widgets, ins/outs, busses, effects. synths etc etc and then save it as a template. Overwrite your normal template if you want it to be the default template. (The one you get when you press ctrl+n)

I have been using my own project "templates" since Sonar 7.  Practically all I use are analog tracks and as I have an 8 channel interface unit, I have one with 8 tracks.
