anyone have the vs100 working well with logic?

so i decided on logic instead of S1 for this new macbook pro

i cannot get anything to work on this with logic. i have selected mackie control but nothing works?

any help would be great

it recognizes the vs100 as the sound card fine and i have it working that way, but no transport controls, no faders, nothing in terms of control

thanks for any help

I wish I could help but I'm on PC here with Sonar X1.

Why don't you call tech support? Cakewalk has their name on this device as well, so I'm sure if Roland won't help you - Cakewalk will.

If you are new to the Cakewalk world it is important to understand these forums are for Users, and the company does not often come here to help (on occasion, but rarely - especially in the hardware areas). Best to drop them an email - or better yet, pick up the phone and call them. They are quite friendly!

    Good luck!

    Here you go Tim!

Looks like someone else was having the same problem you are, and Seth from Cakewalked chimed in to help out.  http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=1801293

In that thread there is another link with a step by step instruction on setting the VS-100 up with Logic. It likely references an older version of Logic, but the setup likely isn't much different.
