1.Create a new audio track. 2.add Reaktor to the audio track FX. 3.Open The Finger in Reaktor 4.Create a new Midi Track 5.Assign the Midi Output to REAKTOR 5 6.Make sure your inputs on both Audio and Midi match your sources (i.e Mic and Midi Controller) voila.

I wonder if you have to alter the properties of Reaktor to use the 'Configure as Synth' option, in order to assign a midi track's output to it. Bob Bone

As of X3 there should be no need to use the "Configure as synth" option for any plug-in. Enabling MIDI I/O in a plug-in's VST header should be enough. Of course, Reaktor already has "Configure as synth" enabled by default.

Yeah as soon as you enable MIDI input for the effect, it should appear in the synth rack and you'll see it listed as an option for the MIDI track's output. I send MIDI to Reaktor effects all the time and it works fine.

yeah something must be wrong here. i am not presented with the option of choosing Reaktor as an out. maybe i need to figure out how to enable MIDI input for Reaktor as an effect. where's that at?

At the top of the effect window there is a drop down menu which enables you to select MIDI out.

I missed out on the Native Instrument sale at the end of June, and the ONLY reason I wanted to upgrade, was to have THE FINGER!

The Finger is a lot of fun. I've never used it in a track yet, mainly because it brings out my attention deficit disorder and I just get too sucked into trying out all the possibilities. The Mouth is another great one.
