anyone who plays strings, orchestral strings?

Hello Everyone,

Here's a track made on X1. Felt I could have stretched it a bit longer. But just wanted to ask if different sound effects like ambience, reverb etc (barring automation) can be applied to different parts in the same track at different levels?

Hoping to get some musical critic esp from those acquainted with strings or orchestra. Would appreciate any other feedback.

Thanks and regards,

Not sure I can be of any help. I did go listen to some other stuff you did and I like Relationship Status - OST - Instrumental.

If I understand your question, you can highlight a section on a track a process just that section using reverb and other effects, then highlight another section ect.

    Hello Billy,

Thanks for giving it a hear and am glad you liked the track.

We can select an FX (say a particular reverb) for a particular track in the console view or even add a second or third FX for the track. But what if I want to use one fx for one section of the track and a second fx for another section of the same track (and not both the fx on the entire track; the way it can be done in the console view). For eg. for the first one minute the reverb effect and the next one minute the compressor effect and not both the effects on the entire two minutes. I tried highlighting and right clicking but the add fx option seems to be available only in the console view. (Although, this can be done by creating another track but it consumes the limited no. of tracks available on X1).

    Regards,
