app integration, being at the helm...
I have been going tru some changes recently. I have been installing an immense behemoth of a D&R Octagon mixing console in a Antwerp studio. Besides that I have moved towards mobile stuff since I am on the move recently. But Cakewalk Sonar remains my anker. But ... well, gadgets, be it a guitar pedal or an iPhone app is allways nice to integrate. And we all have to realise.. One guitar does not sound like another.... And a old plugin on a old pc may sound different from an iPhone app. And that app may not be available on another platform.
I really hope that Cakewalk Sonar and it's OSX version will be the father in many mobilized studios... Where a homestudio can integrate with bluetooth and usb temporarily staying tools can integrate and be disconnected and be recognised faster the next moment.... And thus work more intelligently...
I use severall mobile audio devices and connecting and disconnecting works usually without having to have a power cycle....
