apphangb1

so, on occassion, when using X1c with 4 gb ram, particularly during a mixdown, the application freezes and i have to go to task mgr to close out.  At this point, it tells me that the error is apphangb1  and here are the details below.  Any thoughts on how to prevent this ?

Those kinds of errors (meaning critical crashes) usually need to be handled by Cakewalk tech support. That's your best bet for getting an answer.

I'm no expert, but from my limited knowledge, AppHang points to a general system issue, possibly driver-related. I agree with Scott; this is one for a tech support call.

So that the project can open again, with this kind of error in W7 go to organize, folder and search options, view, abilite show hidden files and folders.
Then go to Cakewalk Projects, open the folder that your music and delete the file (cwp.assets) and renicie the computer.
For me it worked, did not lose anything and I can finish my project.
Probably the error was recorded this damn file, and when u open it again create another without the error in question was worth, and rock!
Ps. Uncheck hidden files and folders.
