are these Samson Monitors a good deal?

anybody use these and do you like them?
do you need a subwoofer to check your bass?

    I have a set of those and have been using them for three or four years.  No problems with them and as good as other studio monitors I've heard.

    do some research and see what the original cost is/was.  Factor in the shipping cost as well. 

    You don't want to overpay for used gear. Sometimes you get great deals in Ebay as long as you research it. 


    With a 6" cone, you will definitely see a benefit from a sub that is properly set up and tuned to the room. 

    I'm using 5" cones with a sub..... nice sounds for sure.

    On second look, those appear to be "well used" and beat up.  Mine are sitting on Auralex foam bases and have not moved.  They look the same as when I got them new. 

    New pair is around $300.
