If I'm not mistaken, you should have both 32/64 bit. Go to Start, on the left click on computer, then double click on your c? drive, you should see Program files, and Program filesx86, the x86 being 32 bit programs. When you install Sonar( been a long time), doesn't it have a choice to install in 32 or 64bit? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can help you more, but I think thats partly correct. Also you can have some 32 bit plugins work in x64 through bitbridge, and even more through J-Bridge. I have Windows Home Premium, a couple steps lower than you, and I don't have many problems running in 64 bit. I hope you get it figured out, and someone chimes in with exact info for you, good luck. PS-64 bit allows so much more options if you can get it sorted out.
