audio inputs

Hey Folks, Every time I open an existing project all the inputs are live. This causes a bit of hiss at the output and through the speakers. I set each input to "None" and the hiss goes away. Even after saving the project with all the inputs to "None" they all still re-open live. How do I save a project with the audio inputs set to "None"? More inconvenience than anything else - having to re-set the inputs at the start of each session. Thanks Much!!! Dave

Save it to the Normal template or name a new template (inputoff.tpl).

Tried that, now it gives me alternating left and right inputs on odd- and even-numbered tracks (left input - Ch1, right input - Ch2 and so on through to Ch12)....interesting. BTW, I'm using the Delta 44 as well....LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks! Dave

That's normal. The Delta44 has 4 Ins and 4 Outs. Each is mono so in order to have a stereo input, you use a left/right pair. So your choices are:

    Delta44 1L
    Delta44 2R
    Delta44 1/2 Stereo
    Delta44 3L
    Delta44 4R
    Delta44 3/4 Stereo
