audio loops and midi sounds

hello everyone. I am trying to figure out why some of the audio loops and midi loops on my v 20 sound like crap, Some seem to be working fine, but others sound like they were recorded by aliens!! any help would be greatly appreciated. Ps. I am using windows vista.  Thanks.

    I have had those problems when I accidently re-amped my tracks through an effect.  Do you have any other software programs you can play those on to see if you are getting the same sound.  If they are the same then you might have some corrupted files if not then it almost have to be a software setting.

     Thanks for the advice.  I havent re amped any tracks yet.  I am still in the basic learning curve of the software, so im stumped on what I could have done . It seems like I have had this problem since I got it.             Strange how some sound fine and others are crazy sounding. Any other suggestions you may have will be appreciated. And thanks again for the reply.

    Same for me. Some loops have v.fast repeat/stutter. They've been like that from the start - before I even recorded anything.

    I believe it might be to do with setting your BPM correctly? I remember seeing that somewhere in the manual.

    Sometimes I amaze myself I even made it through puberty.....
