I used to know a guy who worked in an audiophile store who claimed to be able to hear the difference when you attach speakers to the "remote" outputs of an amp, due to the slightly different distance in the circuit. This was 15 years ago. I bet he's listening to a docked iPod like everyone else now.

I actually have a lot of Monster cables, but only because GC was blowing them out at 20% of cost during a Labor Day sale because Monster had changed the packaging!

My manager friend gave me a heads-up about it and I was the first in the store and bought the lot.

I use 5 M Nordost Odin AC power cords on all of my equipment ... and I get them for a very resonable 21 thousand dollars each.

Here is a price list of some really nice interconnects if anybody is interested:

At a pickup making forum there are claims being made that
they can hear the difference from the type of insulation on
the wire.

Got into a pretty heated thread and even brought the dads abilities in
to support how knowledgable they are about wire....
all I could think was I'm glad I can't hear as good as them.

You're not a serious audiophile until you've got yourself one of these $3,549 3-foot USB cables.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

So what is the theory, regular USB cables lose some 0s and 1s?? I cannot imagine what could possible be gained by a better USB cable. I don't understand directional cables either but I have one... no it wasn't expensive.

I think some people must have more dollars than sense.
