automating knob issue

Hey everyone,

I am using Producer 6.2 and Battery 2 as a drum sampler. Battery has a 'tune' knob which can raise or lower the pitch of the sample 3 octaves (in either direction). I am trying to record automation data for this knob, as it sounds really cool to move the knob while a drum sample is playing. I created an automation control in the synth rack and was able to assign it to the tune knob, but my problem is that the synth rack knob only moves the Battery knob up and down 1 octave (12 up or 12 down, while the Battery knob itself can move 36 up or 36 down). Is there any way to fix this? Or a different way to go about this?

    Sounds like a bug in Battery, or a limitation imposed by the vendor for some non-obvious reason. Might be a question best posed to NI support.

    how can i assign that tune knob?
