automation "moves" automatically with audio file
hey guys, everytime i move an audio file in a track around ,the automation also moves with it and creates a big mess of knots and curves, which i don`t want. Is there an option to disable this function ?

I'm pretty sure there is but I'm not on my DAW at the moment. It's one of those things I don't use often..... it's a "set and forget" function.

Hi, could it be related to the track's edit filter control? Like clip automation vs track automation? I made a test and it worked.

There are options in the Copy and Paste Special dialogs to control what data is manipulated by those functions.
