    I got a £40 Behringer mixer to give me some REAL analogue console warmth.
     
    It has a mic pre-amp built in.

    Pros never use presets.  They shape sounds with their bare hands and bite off anything unwanted.
     
    They don't spend $80k on semi-antique electronics jumble either.

    I'm guessing that $80k could buy that guy a LOT of drugs, but he's probably already on enough of them now.
