bdfsflter + Platinum Installation and BSOD
Initially there was a download error with Platinum...I tried installing but got a BSOD. I deleted the file and tried again after restarting...same thing several more times. I noted that bdfsfltr was featuring which is part of my virus protection program...disabling real time monitoring did not work.
What allowed for a successful installation was restarting in Safe with Networking and going through the process again.
I thought I'd post this in the event any others were finding this.
