...sigh...
Just what every forum needs...the resident grumpy old codger who anoints himself as the resident expert by virtue of not having a life and posting multiple times per day over the course of several years and enjoys brow beating and berating newcomers. You should get out more...perhaps try doing more than shooting things, attempting covers at classic rock songs and pretending you are a psychologist on an internet forum analyzing people you don't know, have never met and would be amazed at how dumb you would look if you actually met/knew them and compared your pathetic life to theirs.
As for me, my original post was genuine. I was just happy to be back after a very long hiatus. I hadn't mixed a song in years and was honestly looking for some constructive feedback. Instead, I got "Band19"...aka "Loser#1".
You're attempted psychoanalysis was quite interesting though...yet, very wrong...but certainly sheds light on your own very obvious issues. So, what you're saying to me is that 80-90% of the people that contribute to the forum are 'like me', whatever the hell that means...and you're the normal one? Um, I think you need to keep that mirror you're trying to get me to look in. You're going to need it...a whole room full of them.
Simply proves my original point - worthless old hillbilly posting 100 times a month for a couple years straight thinking he's Mr. Moderator and instead of contributing something positive to the forum decides to pass judgement and be an a-hole. I'm sure I could find countless examples but I actually have a life and don't care enough to go trolling through any more posts than I have to (I had to go find something you posted so I could at least listen to your, ahem..."music"...).
And you're right, I will continue to post here from time to time...and I'm sure you'll stalk me around like the loser you are and jump into a thread with your worthless and pathetic two cents.
But that's OK...you're not the first idiot I've run into on the internet who thinks that the sheer number of posts actually means something...or even worse...makes them smart? (and I love your supposition that working with statistics every day MAKES you smart? Your grammar certainly doesn't do that for you...)
I've been a Sonar user for over 6 years and as mentioned was on this forum in a previous iteration and that was the first song I had ever posted. In fact, if you even went to my page you'd see that was all I had up there. You'll also find that many others contributed to that thread and it was a learning experience for all involved...and I was happy to share, in detail, my solution so that others who run into a similar problem could benefit.
All that said, I'm happy to be back and knew I'd run into a toolbox such as yourself in due time...every village has an idiot...just didn't think I'd find the resident Cakewalk Forum one on my first real post back.
Have a nice life.
