behringer bcr2000 step sequencer

I see some of you reference the behringer bcr2000, from time to time. You can convert it to a step sequencer for 80 dollars.

Doh, sorta painful. After your Tremor posts and now this SS, Geist comes to mind again. One point I think I neglected earlier is that with MIDI output enabled, Geist also fires MIDI on multiple channels. In SONAR/CbB this can be awkward to employ due to lack of a MIDI mapper, but the functionality is there (and more capable than this hardware rendition).

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

I'm not following, how is SS affecting me? Just posted in case others had the BCR.

I'm considering UVI Drum designer, next timeit's on offer, as opposed to Geist. But whats the issue with the MIDI and what would a midi mapper do to help, as I also haven't ruled out Tremor yet either?
