bounce to clip error

Recently upgraded to hs6xl. Very pleased with purchase. Huge improvement on hs4. One problem I'm having though, when I bounce to clip I'm getting an error on some tracks. Tracks are all identical in terms of sample rate, mono etc. But it will not bounce certain tracks within a project. I changed rendering bit setting from 32 to 24, still didn't fix the problem. This is the error message:

DirectShow Error [0x8004022A]
This filter does not support the current audio format. It may require a different number of channels (eg. stereo instead of mono) or a different sample rate.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

just compressor, but that's on other tracks that WILL bounce though, and I tried it without fx, still no bounce. Just to clarify, eg: 4 tracks of guitar, all same setting, recorded on same day, 3 tracks bounce no problem but 1 wont.

odd. try dragging the audio clip to another track ans see if it'll bounce from there. any particular reason you're bouncing these tracks anyhow/ (thinking of workaround)

ok, this is a bit embarrassing. I figured out the problem. I have compressors on all the tracks. The ones that are bouncing have cakewalk FX compressor/gate. But some have cakewalk compressor/gate, these ones will not bounce. cakewalk compressor/gate seems to be a stereo plugin. That's why I was getting the error message. Thanks anyway.
