bouncing bus?

Is there an easy way to bounce a bus to a stereo track? I've got SD Trigger going out to a few buses and I want to save them as separate stereo tracks...like bounce to file.

Am I missing something obvious?

HW8400 Dual Quads, 16Gig Ram, MOTU 828 MKII, Sonar X1, Avid Artist Control, UA LA-610 Mk II, Ensoniq KT88, Samplitude 10, Pianoteq, Izotope Ozone, SD Trigger, Yellow Tools Independance, SampleTank, AAS suite, etc...

In the Bounce to Track dbx, Under Source Categories choose 'buses' - obviously.

    Larry,

Thanks! I'll give it a go.

I'm trying to give a band member a copy of the tracks to mix to his liking. He dosen't have the plugs I have (and he's on sonar 7). My thought was to bounce all the tracks to file, freeze the synths and bounce the bus effects to tracks.

Does what you suggest separate out each bus, or do I have to mute everything that I don't want to hear when I do the export?

I guess doing it will tell. I wish there was a way to automate all the freezing, bouncing to track and exporting...

    Thanks again.

    Dave

You can choose which buses to include/exclude etc. As long as there is data sent to a bus, that bus will be in the selection list to choose from. Bounce any number of buses you choose. You can also choose whether to include FX, Automation, etc. in the same dbx.

Post back and let us know if it worked for you.
