can sonar remove overdubbed audio track in movie???

Guys,
I have american avi movie with overlapped italian voice. Is there a way to remove this italian track which is louder BTW
then original and leave only english track using Sonar ???

    If the voices are in one track, then no. If there on 2 separate tracks, then you can. If the 2 voices are in one track and they overlap each other, then there is no way to do it. Its like trying to take the flour out of an already baked loaf of bread.

    Melodyne DNA, could possibly do this somewhat, but not 100% and not even 50% probably

    thanks, it is unfortunately on both tracks. I thought that maybe filtering out somehow this Italian voice
    is possible since it has quite different pitch and loudness.  So there is no language specific filters? 
    like Italian filter or Spanish

    no, but if the voices are different pitches, you could try a paragraphic eq to notch down that particular frequency...

    Or take out the audio altogether and dub your own dialog, a la Mystery Science Theater.

    I used to love MST....    A friend was over to the house when I turned it on. He took a sip of his drink and noticed the 3 characters in the bottom of the screen..... he blew that mouthful of drink all over the room and choked on the rest as he laughed... WTF is THAT!!!!

    The running commentary was always better than the movie. THAT....was entertainment!
