change a tempo to exist song

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    p;                                                                hello,
i started using cakewalk sonar capple of weeks before and i have a question:
how can i change a tempo to file that i imported to sonar.
this considers to version 8.5 producer.  please tell me how can i do this?

    You don't say what the file is that you have imported? Is it an MP3? WAV?
    What are you attempting to do? Alter the speed without changing the pitch? There are other programmes that will do that for you if it's an MP3/WAV.

    Can you supply some more information.

    i want to change only the tempo, and finally, when i save this that it will possiblle to hear that tempo is changed.
    i imported flac, wav, and mp3 files to sonar.

    Head over to the Sonar Producer forum (on this board) and there is a thread near the top called "I know I should know this, but..." - this has some info in there that should answer your question.
