changing midi playback channels

I'm having a problem with the CHAN.CAL script in Sonar X1 Studio. I can only change the midi playback channel of a clip once. If I try to change it back from 2 to 1 or to 3, it won't do it. Is that a bug in my version, or if not what's the workaround?

Thanks,
John

The CAL is likely writing the channel change message into data, so if you don't delete the first entry you may have competing messages. Open the Event List and be sure you don't have multiple entries occuring at the same time as they will conflict. If you post the CAL somewhere I'll look at it.

The workaround would be to use the Event Inspector to change the Midi channel of selected notes.
Actually I'd suggest this is the proper, standard way of doing it rather than running a CAL script to do it.

Yes, as Bristol Jonesey suggested, it's much easier to use the Event Inspector. Check out this free video on how to use it...
