the morning guys out of Philly’s MMR compiled their choice of the 100 cheesie WMMR, there's a blast from the past! I grew up on that stuff... one of the first prog rock stations in the country. As for their list... sheesh, they're slipping. They left out the absolute cheeziest line ever: "oh man, oh god, oh man, oh god, oh man oh god"

Yea, MMR is a great station ... they still play a fairly wide variety. I can only tolerate a little talk in the morning but that show can be mildly amusing. There is also a really good station out of North Jersey, DHA, that has the same format.

"You had me at Hello...." Just Gawd-awful. There was an amazing number of quotes in there from the Star Wars movies.... Just how is it that we all love them so much??? Well, at least the last (first?) three). Shocking lack of David Lynch, though.... "I just saw the Good Witch" (Wild at Heart)

I grew up in South Jersey in the 60's and early 70's.... I remember when WMMR went on the air.... what a cool station it was.... they played the album cuts of the songs and stuff like King Crimson, Johnny & Edgar Winters, Spirit...and so many other artists......stuff nobody else was playing....so imagine my surprise when a few years back, I went up to Pine Hill for my class reunion, and when I hit the Delaware Memorial Bridges, I started channel surfing and there....like a shining beacon of hope on the radio dial...... WMMR...still on the air after all these years....

julibee Shocking lack of David Lynch, though.... "I just saw the Good Witch" (Wild at Heart) I think David Lynch is either the worst dramatic director in history ...or the greatest comedic director in history.

Instead MMR taught me King Crimson, ELP, Yes, etc... I'm glad they're still at it!

Hi, What a bunch ... the worst was Ed Wood ... but then, in those days you were supposed to be drunk and with the girl (or vice versa) and be in the drive-in ... ! ... and if the movie was more important than the girl .... all your friends said .... you moron ... !!!!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
