click at the end of exported tracks

I'm using Windows 8 Sonar X1 Prod Expanded. When I export the 16 bit 44.1 wave files, they have clicks in the last moment.

Not sure why. I've faded the clips before exporting.

Scratches his head.

Somethnig in the project is causing it. Double check all your tracks in the project. Its def not normal

On what meduim are you hearing it click at the end.

When  you import them back into sonar, do you see anyhting at the end of your file

The clicks are in the wavs. I have the clip to export solo'd and routed directly out with no fx (not through a main bus or anything but direct to the m-audio). When I re-import the wav, the click is visible at the end of the file. Hunting now for the problem.

Route your track to a master bus and route the master to the main outs.

The track I'm exporting is 24 bit 88.2. I'm exporting to 16 bit 44.1. Now, re-exporting, I am not replicating the problem.

Shift G moves now to start of selection. I can't remember how to move it to the end of the selection. Anyone know?

I'm trying to replicate my problem but not having success just now.

I just click the clip  and it selects the entire timeline i want exported. If there is more than one clip in the track, i lasso it and select the timeline with my mouse, then export. I have a control surface to move selections , so i don't use key commands for that

Totally. thanks CJ. I'm exporting ok. It's interesting. Every track I exported in a jam session (like 12) has the click on the end. Now, re-doing it, no clicks. Maybe it's just one of those flukes. I tried enabling and disabling the x64 engine and different ditherings. I can't replicate. I'll keep my eye out for it. Thanks for your help.

I don't think there is a shortcut for moving the now time to the end of a clip, only the beginning.

Glad my prob is going away. If I get replication, I'll submit a ticket. Thanks as always.

I found my problem. I used a Gold Version of Media Monkey to tag the files with musician names etc then exported to MP3 so I could send them around. For some reason, Media Monkey added the spike to the end of the file in doing this. Don't know why. Back to Lame for MP3 encoding. Thanks!!
